"The seriousness strengthens ideas. It solidifies the same until they eventually clog the mind. Cholesterol of the imagination, the laughter cracks in spurts until the light goes again. " 1

Alain k is an artist that exists both in drawing, painting, video that It develops through these different mids a work imbued with humor. Antidisciplinaire artist Alain K adopts the posture of misfires as a metaphor for the artist's condition. In the tradition of artists 'idiots' 2 it threatens the world order to reveal a field of unlimited possible. The Absurdity is omnipresent in his work and allows the bankruptcy of reality but also the destruction and endangerment of the concept artist.

Alain K creates characters, like the man with the gun series, it unfolds and takes to the stage in a sort of Mr. Hulot's contemporary art. His characters find themselves in situations "pathetic, ridiculous, useless, stupid" 3 to become a subversive image runs contrary to the stereotypes of contemporary art. The condition of artist Alain double k, is related to abandonment himself through his characters, but it is also a commitment, a kind of protest, he decided "to become resistant. There are no more busy fighting there is just a company that grows everywhere. Always pushing to be published under his good day. That grows to always do better. That grows to be effective, reasonable 4. Alain K is positioned behind the world as a spectator, he began to distance, there is a failure of society and its codes, Alain K occupies the margins but at the same time it parasitizes this world turns: "You refuse to be a winner. Faced with a situation of tension several choices available to the individual and that the leak can avoid going into the game of "dominance" it can protect itself and at the same time there is the possibility of building , in "fleeing" in the imagination. "To Laborit, this is the only remedy acceptable and useful. It places the creation on top of everything, and in fact the most important principle that is the only one that we allow to have a chance to evolve in a way interesting. " 6

Alain K transforms the banal by humor and the everyday world and diverted by humor is a constant possibility of introducing poetry and dreams. "Against stupidity unwitting amounts of silly laughter. Against the excesses of an art "committed" to keep the dream of a thought lightly. And if the game was not just the preserve of children, but the ironic sign of a serious thought - who flees anything that is heavy with depth? " 8
These Alain k" to make the game a driving principle in a world where the seriousness of Officials there, as elsewhere havoc " 9. Through laughter the artist act virulent social criticism, laughter is a real weapon here to battle against mental lethargy. Fool around, take an aesthetic of self-evident idiocy, aware that it is now the most efficient engine of subversion in art. The idiocy is offered as a possible replay of the real, it becomes a creative power that opens new fields of experience. To paraphrase Jean Dubuffet 10 to remain anti-conformist, the artist must assume a role similar to that of the fool, even surprise and to divert.

With a taste for irreverence, Alain K plays with the codes of beauty, good, good and never hesitates to take-off cons of conventional aesthetics to denounce it. He struggles with application against the arrogance of intellectual superiority displayed by the medium of art. Alain K uses parody, satire, puns and self-mockery. Laughter is taken by Alain K very seriously. It puts the world at bay.
