Sirois (CV)




Born in Quebec in 1947. A classical education and in educational psychology at Quebec and Rennes in France. Pursuing a career in teaching pre-school and elementary as well as college CEGEP de Sorel-Tracy.



Installs in Sorel in 1981 when she became interested and involved in the achievements and artistic and cultural development: Secretary, then President of the Association of Artisans du Bas-Richelieu from 1981 to 1985, founding member Cultural Month Bas-Richelieu, corporation (1985-1990) with a mandate to promote and develop the arts in the community; board member of Horizon Sorel Gallery from 2002 to 2008, founding member and organizer of the symposium The Arts at horizon from 2006 to 2009. Conducts workshops in drawing and painting. Was part of the evaluation committee of the artistic heritage of the vast region of Sorel-Tracy.



Between 1990 and 2000, following training courses in drawing, pastels and painting with watercolors and then Lysette Drainville with Denise Leger. Participates in group shows and a few solos in the region of Sorel-Tracy and Lanaudière, recently the House Lacombe.

Approach:

"The design accuracy is found at the base of all my designs and the combination of primary colors made up my palette. Like many, nature, people and things speak to me and inspire me.
